Patrick Swayze was snapped by the photogs on a rare public outing earlier this month, while visiting an auto dealership with his wife Lisa. According to our sources:

Exclusive images taken 7th March, 2009. …In a rare public outing, the courageous Patrick Swayze visits a Santa Monica auto dealership to buy a brand new Nissan GT-R for his wife Lisa. While his life is filled mostly with doctor's appointments and quiet time at home, it's clear Swayze wants to let his wife know how much he appreciates her and made a point to join her and her brother while they shopped for cars. While his wife and her brother laughed and joked openly with a salesman, a wig-wearing Patrick remained serious and somber, chain-smoking and walking slowly, with a slight limp. Swayze's resolve remains strong as pancreatic cancer continues to assault his body and his immune system, but the pain and anguish he's feeling cannot be hidden as he walked several paces behind his wife, remained disengaged throughout most of the discussion with the auto dealer, and winced several times as he ate a bag of popcorn. His clothes hung loosely on his skeletal frame and his bloated belly protruded through his shirt.

I really hope that the care he's receiving will pull him through, although he's looking pretty ill. I'll forever be a huge Patrick Swayze fan, from my major crush on him in Dirty Dancing @ the age of 9, up until a more recent film, Keeping Mom, where he played a sleazy golf instructor. Patrick and his family will always be in our prayers.
