These two young fashion moguls are also big business women. Why is that? Oh, well there's a little profit being made last month from real estate. According to the Gazette:

It took five years, but Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen will turn a profit on the Manhattan condo they bought but never used. You remember the story: Back in 2005, when they were headed from L.A. to New York University, they paid $7.3 million U.S. for this five-bedroom penthouse condo in the West Village. But then they decided that at age 18, they didn't want that much togetherness, and each found separate digs. Before the recession, the place was on the market at $12 million. Now it's reportedly being sold -to a hedge-fund tycoon -for $8.45 big ones.

Hmm... now that's money making money!!!!! But, it's only a drop in the bucket for these two. How much are they worth? Well, I'm glad you asked. According to Forbes, they made 11th on the "20 Richest Women in Entertainment List" in 2007 with $100 million.

The Olsen Twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, were snapped posing for photogs on the red carpet @ the CFDA Fashion Awards, Monday, in NYC.

I was just asking where PETA was in a previous post, and I guess we've found out! PETA made an appearance @ New York City's Union Square today in protest of the two "fur hags".

The girls were signing copies of their latest coffee table book "Influence" for fans. I guess, em, fans of Full House or maybe the movie "New York Minute"!? What else have they been in, other than that and I dunno say the sitcom "So Little Time", that anyone knows of?
